UGM produces the first condensate pumps

Uralgidromash manufactured and produced the first condensate pumps in the history of the plant. This is an epoch-making event in the production annals of UGM, which opens a new direction for the company.

The order for 18 pumps was received from the Ural Turbine Plant, according to the results of negotiations between the management of the enterprises. Previously, such machines were produced by a plant in Sumy. In a short time, the first condensate pump КсВу 320-160 of Ural production was manufactured. It fully corresponds to the binding dimensions of Sumy products, fits perfectly into its cell and is not inferior to it in all technical characteristics. Uralgidromash has never produced such a class of condensate pumps. In terms of size, design and purpose, this is a completely new product for the company. The equipment belongs to a high-pressure multistage centrifugal pump, respectively, its design, manufacture, assembly was a completely new task for both designers and technologists, and for production.

According to the plan of the enterprise, the shipment will be made in six pieces, exactly this amount is included in the complete set of one unit of the CHP. The first batch passed parametric tests on the stand, the pumps showed full compliance with the specified characteristics and are ready for shipment. Uralgidromash pumps will work at the thermal power plants of Smolensk, Vladivostok and Tambov, together with Ural turbines.

The company is making plans to develop the next standard size of the condensate pump. This opens up a new segment for UGM in the pumping equipment market and gives it a new direction of development.
