Uralgidromash is involved in the construction of the Ruppur nuclear power plant in Bangladesh. The station is designed and built with the participation of Russia. Within the framework of the contract, UGM will supply electric motors DVDAZ-173 / 119-6-8-2АМО5 for DCPA drives.
The Ruppur NPP is planned to be built as part of an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Bangladesh, which was concluded in November 2011. The project will commission two power units with VVER-1200 reactors.
