On March 27, in the Joint-Stock Company "Uralgidromash" the field examination conducted by the state corporation "Rosatom" was completed. Based on its results, a decision was made to accredit the Testing Center of UGM JSC for the right to conduct tests on products manufactured for nuclear power plants.
The accreditation certificate was preceded by a large and painstaking work on the establishment of the Testing Center at UGM JSC, which was conducted during the year under the guidance of the Quality Management and Standardization Department. The center was created on the basis of the existing laboratory of research and testing of OGK hydraulic machines, the test site of the EM PC and the group of experimental studies of OGK EM&MP.
Received accreditation certificate gives the right to conduct independent tests of products for nuclear power plants, as well as for the certification of products of our company. In addition, the Testing Center received the right to conduct tests for any third-party organizations. All this gives a significant reduction in costs when conducting mandatory certification of products, and also provides an undoubted advantage over our competitors.
However, obtaining an accreditation certificate is not the final. This gives an incentive for the further development of both the material and methodological base of the Testing Center during the tests. And work in this direction will continue.
