The delegation of the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region, headed by Vasily Kozlov, who assumed the post on January 15, visited Uralgidromash.
The acquaintance with “Uralgidromash” the new minister opened a series of visits to regional enterprises as part of a campaign to promote the region and attract foreign investment. During the meeting, the management of the company and the minister discussed the prospects of cooperation with Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, China and other countries that are acutely faced with irrigation issues and who may be interested in equipping the UGM: pumps, hydraulic turbines, as well as electric motors.
The minister also visited production sites: steel structures, aluminum structures, pump manufacturing workshop.
Currently, Uralgidromash actively cooperates with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and supplies equipment to India, China, Belarus. The equipment of the enterprise works at the facilities of the power industry, water utilities, oil and gas and mining industries in more than 50 countries of the world.
