Uralgidromash is carrying out a major overhaul project for the rotor of the engine of the main circulation pump of the Czech nuclear power plant Temelin.
Under the contract, UGM will supply three rotors for VAZ 215 / 109-6 motors designed to drive the main circulation pump of the primary reactor cooling installation.
The project of the station using monoblock power units with VVER-1000/320 reactors of Soviet production was approved in 1985. Economic and political reforms delayed the launch of units for 10 years, the power plant was launched only in 2000.
